I am looking for a place to find good, free cell phone applications/games/etc.

I would really like a place like gbatemp is for DS and Wii, where everyone is very helpful and good at what they do.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Seeing on how your from the US (hopefully), you have some options...

If you have Verizon or Altell as your provider, stop reading now, your f*ked! Sorry, nothing more to see here, goodbye!

If you have anyone one else (or have a crackberry/windows/palm OS, you can keep reading), you can use any Java game out there...

I used to have a ton of sites with free and semi free (used mobile web to show you ads so they get some money for letting you play for free)... just search for your model phone and java (ie. Nokia 6860 java)

Uploading a file containing :
Alarm clock, Calculator, Currency exchange, Euro Calculator, IM Plus, Mobile Safe, Moto MP3 player, notepad, Opera Mini, Send fax, Send mail, Stock quotes, US area codes, US Zip codes and a lot of other .jar + .jad apps.

So, assuming your phone has java, you can put whatever files on it you want ending in .jar, not quite sure what .jad is for. IM Plus and a couple of others require a serial # or registration, which, if you really want, you'll have to get yourself.

EDIT : http://rapidshare.com/files/129635668/apps.rar.html The apps in the .rar file, enjoy. :]

Thanks for those apps, some of them are just the thing I was looking for. Does anyone else have some good games or applications for java enabled cell phones?
