Hi everyone i am looking into purchasing a gaming mouse, mouse pad and a gaming keyboard. I figured i would rather make a new topic rather than edit my old one for ease of access. If this is not allowed i apoligize i will then add this info to my other topic and edit it.

I have a few that i found but i would like your recommendations. The budget that i have set aside for the mouse is no more than 70 dollars. As for a keyboard not over 100 it doesn't have to be mechanical. Also for the mousepad none over 20 i am not wasting that much just for a mousepad.

Also i apoligize in advance for the wall of text incoming.

Okay i will start with what i found as far as mice.

The razer deathadder.

Razer Naga Special

I found this but i might not get it though it looks awesome however.

Logitech G500

Steelseries Xai

Next up is the keyboard that i have found.

The microsoft sidewinder x4

Razer lycosa

Razer Blackwidow

Mousepads that i have found only one that seems decent.

I'd consider this as well: http://www.amazon.co...e/dp/B003CP0BHM

Your choice of black or white, or the R.A.T. MMO, same mouse just with even more buttons (and costs more, it's a different product).

I picked up the R.A.T.9 off of Madcatz's website last year (my blog I think has quite a few very angry posts about how bad their CS is), and the mouse is by far the best and most comfortable one I've used to date. Only difference between the 7 and the 9 is corded vs wireless, but the battery cartridges it come with only last roughly a day before needing to be recharged. Save yourself the $50.

Once you go with the R.A.T. 5 or the 3, you start losing buttons, sensitivity, and the ability to reshape the mouse. (Their GLIDE7 gaming surface (aka giant mousepad) is pretty good as well)

As far as a keyboard, I got their CYBORG V.7 as well, and it's rather lackluster.

Edit - and just read that you had budgets set in place. Nevermind then.

Edit 2 - As far as the Naga/Naga Epic, I'd recommend against it. Two or three of my friends have them, and I can't stand the mouse. The back end of it feels super bulbous in your palm, and the thumb buttons are hard to get to and press.

What kind of games do you primarily play? -- the answer to this has an effect on which mouse I'd recommend. Of those that you've listed I've owned/used all but the SteelSeries.

If you rarely play MMOs I'd say skip the Naga. Even if you play MMOs regularly but not daily it's not worth it if you're also into games where you don't need 14 buttons. The Naga is also somewhat small. I happen to have the Molten edition myself and it looks awesome but it's sitting in a box since I quit wow and I don't need that many binds in Guild Wars 2.

I use a mouse that is not on your list and that is the Razer Spectre SCII branded mouse which I reviewed (twice) on Newegg under the same username. I have still never had the slightest problem with it though a couple other people have griped since my reviews were posted.

The deathadder is great especially if you have bigger hands because it's big. But with its ergonomic shape it is still incredibly comfortable even for small hands peoples. I bought this one both for a custom PC build client & also for my boyfriend.

The G500 is nice if you need more than 5 buttons but don't necessarily want the Naga. It's larger than the naga and has adjustable weights. (I sold it to a friend because it was too big for my little asian lady hands >.>)

I personally have the Razer BlackWidow Ultimate (illuminated version) keyboard and I love it. But it is not as durable as I've expected. It's only a year old and some of the keys are a little sticky now. (edit: I am borderline OCD about keeping electronics that I touch very clean, i sure as hell aint spilling crumbs into a $130 keyboard) I'll ask my dad who's an electronics engineer whether it's "safe" for me to lubricate the switches on those keys. (2, W, E, R seem to be the ones that stick now and then at this point)

I recommend the Sphex mousing surface also because it is not fabric and doesn't collect skin cells, just stays clean looking. And it works great with every laser/optical/bluetrack mouse i've used on it, I've bought two now because i didnt want to risk bending the first one when i moved so i left it at my mom's. I paid around $17 for it.

I usually play rts games and rpgs. Although i play some fps also like borderlands 2 and half life as a few examples. Well i never thought choosing these items would be this difficult, i am torn and don't know what to choose.

I'd recommend not using a mouse for gaming.
I myself have found a better alternative.

That is the single most awesome gaming mouse or mouse-like set-up I've ever seen. But your spoiler tags, always the square brackets on forums sir.

You should go to a Best Buy and see how some of these models fit your hand even if you intend to buy online to skirt taxes.

I had that problem too. I was using a wireless mouse that came with a keyboard I had, loved the mouse and all the extra buttons it had. When it went out I went looking for a replica and none was to be found. Best you can do is try a few of them if possible. Buy/return is a gritty way to do it.

This is why i hate living in a place where there are no good stores around besides walmart. The closest best buy for me is in another state and a hour and a half drive away. However i might think of doing that though.
