I am doing the offline method where I setup a local hotspot and it was working beautifully this morning. But through out the day it started freezing on the video before loadline loads. The strange part is when I switch sd cards to a 512 mb I was using just the test it it works every time, but on 3 other sd cards I have that have enough size to actually put games on them it just freezes. I have tried reformatting both to 64kb and 32kb fat32, I have tried erasing save data and deleting cookies doesn't matter.

It doesn't make any sense to me unless it's a problem with 3 of my sd cards? Ones a generic one (although it worked earlier today) ones a toshiba 2 gb and ones a sandisk 32 gb.

I pretty much have to do the offline method because I have apartment wifi and it won't connect to my IP address I tried that all day yesterday. I don't know what to do.

Thanks but I think I solved it sorta strange but I had a usb flash drive in my wii u because I had bought Fatal Frame V digitally and had it on there I tried taking it out and the exploit works fine now.

Just realized I am using yours. Thanks for it and the great instructions it works beautifully for me I wouldn't be able to do the exploit without it!

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
are you using haxchi, tiramisu or aroma?
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
no, I'm asking which one of them you are using
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
in that case, there is no such thing as homebrew launcher for aroma
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
you have to launch your homebrews directly from the wii u menu
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
there is a plugin that display them on the wii u menu, pretty sure it is enabled by default
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    so like it doesnt exist
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    yeah
    ?
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
it doesn't exist, at least not for aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    ohhhhh
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
on tiramisu you can access it by opening mii maker
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    okay
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
but homebrew is appearing in the home menu btw
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
    yes, now I remember it
  • NinStar @ NinStar:
then it is working, I also don't like that they did this but it is the only option you have if you are using aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
i just didint know the homebrew launcher didint exist in aroma
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
