Nope.

Is there any problems or issues I need to know about before installing loadiine? also, let's say I don't want to use it anymore, is it possible to uninstall it so I can play online with my original games?
I don't want to take any risks.

You dont really install anything anyways, it's only unpermanent patches and loadiine leaves no trace whatsoever, no uninstalling and no traces to worry about left as long as you restart your wii in between using Loadiine and playing legit games online

Loadiine doesn't modify your console at all, so its completely safe 0% chance of brick. You can also play online using your legit purchased games at any time, no need to reboot after using GX2. If you wanna stay in the safe side you can, but there's no risk if you don't.

It doesnt risk anything, the console just runs somewhat unstable after running the exploit. Crashs a whole lot for me if i dont restart

I'm interested in how you guys run GX2, because I've played online immediately after using it, and I've received no instability.

Not to different from anyone, kaflukes host, direct start of loadiine with baked in kex, 5.5.1, newest loadiine version. Nothing really special

Hopefully someone can answer a few newbie questions trying to get this to work on a 5.5.1E Wii U:

1) So I have an SD card with the homebrew launcher and loadiine GX2 in correct folder structure
2) I have two games in the correct folder structure [ complete with title and ID ] - one of the games doesn't have a meta folder, does that matter ?
3) I have the hombrew launcher "www" files in a subfolder a locally hosted website - http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/wiiu

Do I now just point the Wii U's browser at http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX/wiiu which will launch the homebrew launcher, and from I there I launch Loadiine GX2 ?

Is there anything else I need to do ?

Just tried - and am constantly getting a "FSGetMountSource failed" message on a black screen. I can only get rid of this by unplugging the Wii U.

UPDATE:

Changing the SD card got me past this error but now get a sort of grey out screen where it looks like the browser is trying to do something but is taking ages to do it ?. This is clearly an issue with my local hosting solution (which is meant to server PHP files fine) as I we go to one of the "hosted" sites I now get "missing all OS specific addresses" ???

UPDATE 2: Solved the missing OS problem (it seems the release version of Loadiine GX2 doesn't work with 5.5.1) and all is now looking good so far, if I can only work out why I can't see the image cover option on any of the games :(

Anyone got any recommendations for a good SD card to use - as the one that currently works is only 2GB.

Hello everyone, I am very new to the WiiU homebrew scene and I've been having some trouble with Loadiine.

I have not been able to successfully run NDS and Snes injects in Loadiine. I am running the latest loadiine nightly build and my firmware is 5.5.1U and I've tried running Castlevania Order of Ecclesia, Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow, and Super Metroid. Each game has caused the WiiU to crash and I've no idea what the issue could be.

I haven't seen many complaints about NDS not working with Loadiine, so I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong. Does anyone have any tips to run DS and Snes games on Loadiine successfully?

Make sure the sd cards are unlocked and formatted to fat32.

Whats your folder structure like?

I don't think that kind of advice is going to help any.

Are you referring to the 3d cover art? You can press + on the gamepad at any point in the Loadiine menu to download the cover arts automatically. This requires that you have the correct Title ID in the folder name in your SD. Sometimes it doesn't work though, I've only managed two games to display them. If it really bothers you, you can download them manually one by one and add them to the folders in the SD, or you can download a cover art pack.

I fixed fsmount error by changing the micro SD card reader if that helps anyone :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And there's a simple drag and drop nds programme I think called nds2wiiu

is there a way to load loadiine faster like if you click the internet browser it just loads the menu for games. Just asking for my kids to make it easier. Right now I click the internet browser favories, click on submit on webpage then click load loadiine software.

thanks
