is there a way to load loadiine faster like if you click the internet browser it just loads the menu for games. Just asking for my kids to make it easier. Right now I click the internet browser favories, click on submit on webpage then click load loadiine software.

thanks
Not really. Self hosting isn't much faster or easier for less tech savvy people. You can try finding a faster website host but there's not much else you can do.

Has anyone got this problem with MK8?

I use a silicon power micro SD card with fat32 format.
My system version is 5.5.1 U.
I have tried with the latest build of loadiine and with the stable version.
I have downloaded 4 versions of mario kart 8 and I have the same problem with each of them with no updates and tried to load the game with SSB and Mii Maker.

My other games load perfectly.

I haven't found the solution to this and was hoping if someone could have a clue on what is happening.

Thanks.

You can set the loadiine web-page as the default and that's it - you click on the browser icon and you have the instant loadiine loading ;) PM me if you need further instructions.

Actually that just gave me an idea. loadiine.ovh has an automation service underneath the dropdown list. You can set it to load GX2 and then check the box and click submit. Next time you go to the website, it loads GX2 automatically. Then, you can set loadiine.ovh as the home page. Bam. Instant GX2 loading after opening the browser.

We have been doing this for ages tho
Make sure to load the page and before it opens quit the internet browser and turn off the wii u. This way it will just open it whenever you click the browser.

Or you could just set it as the homepage.

Some people might also actually use the Browser for other things as well. I've also noticed that certain situations trigger the Browser to reset the page it's on, like changing network connections, or something of the sort.

Sorry if it's been asked before, I looked on google but could not find info about this so I am asking here.

I understood loadiine cannot get USB access due to rights limitations. What about network access ?
Could it be possible at some point to have loadiine load the games from a local network share (SMB or NFS for example) ? I have my server with huge drives less than a meter away from my WiiU.

I fixed fsmount error by changing the micro SD card reader if that helps anyone :)

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

And there's a simple drag and drop nds programme I think called nds2wiiu
The weird thing for me is that the card that was constantly giving the fsmount error now works fine ( after I used another card to get past that stage ) ???

I don't think that kind of advice is going to help any.

Are you referring to the 3d cover art? You can press + on the gamepad at any point in the Loadiine menu to download the cover arts automatically. This requires that you have the correct Title ID in the folder name in your SD. Sometimes it doesn't work though, I've only managed two games to display them. If it really bothers you, you can download them manually one by one and add them to the folders in the SD, or you can download a cover art pack.
Thanks.

I was getting confused ( happens all the time ) as the two big arrows - on the game menu screen - don't actually do anything.

I am willing to bet it would have worked qith some more trial and error just before, the wiiu-SD slot is really crappy abd finicky, cant handle a tiny bit of inconnectivity and all that beatifull stuff. When i get FSMount i take my sd out the U, the micro out of the sd, do some oldfashioned nes-cartridge-blowing on everything and firmly put them back together, and even THAT sometimes takes multiple tries to work.

well I'm on 5.3.2 and I can't see to get loadiine or homebrew launcher to load. the screen just pixelates and freezes when I visit one of the several sites used to launch.
is there a certain sd card needed?
should I update to 5.5.1 and try again?

People warn others about updating to 5.5.1 as for possible incompatiblity with upcoming exploits. And people say it works when you use direct links as bookmarks instead of the sites, but to be completely honest, i tried with 2 friends who stood on 5.3.2 and we just couldn't get it to work whatsoever, so we just went with the risk and updated, and it worked first try. It's your choice, tho.

Yeah happens to a lot of people, including me. I think Loadiine just has a high fail rate to some people until you switch cards once. I've switched cards like five times and only the first one got the fsmount.

Is there a limitation on the size and/or type of SD card you can use ? ie are SDXC cards fine ? Any brand recommendations people have had no issues with ?

Yes, I have tried other sources without the update and it's always makes the same noise and gets stuck.

I will be trying to format my sd with 32kb cluster since it seems that the game sometimes has problems with 64kb cluster.
