Help...

Xenoblade Chronicles X, stuck in "Connecting, please wait" screen... any ideas?

fat32 64k cluster, 200GB sd card, and using everything latest version....
backup used to work just fine, (before I formatted the SD to 64K)

EDIT:

Never mind, it looks like the game only will start with Smash Bros mode... :D

I have Wii U with v 4.0.0 E, and I can't load a game.
I hava installed the last nightly Loadiine GX2 195aab and HomeBrew Launcher 1.2Rc3. I host the files in my home web server.

I lauch Loadiine GX2 and I start the game using miimaker. It hangs with a black screen. I have to power off the console (pressing five seconds the power button).

I have tried this three games:

Splatoon
Mario Party 10
Mario Party 10

I am using a 8 GB SD card formatted under my unix pc.

What can be the problem? the 4.0.0 E version? the format of SD card?

How long did you allow the games to load ? some can take quite a while to load, also try the latest nightly build here https://github.com/dimok789/loadiine_gx2/releases

I have waited more of 20 minutes
I tried the nightly that you point in your link.

should not be taking that long, think the longest I waited was about 4 minutes :(

You could try backing up all your files, giving the card a format and copy the files back

Not sure what else to suggest tbh, you could update to 5.5.1 (I use this flawlessly with 100% boot rate) or wait for someone more experienced to advise you
My Wii U is on 5.5.1 and with updates blocked, so that can't be it :/ I guess I'll wait for someone more experienced like you said!

Thanks for your help!! :D

Is there any way to sort the games you have in loadiine?
Smash and Mario Kart 8 are the ones I play the most, but the f%ç&€r$ are in the second page (I use the grid layout) so is kind of annoying.

+1 for sorting games, I love having my virtual console games at the end of the list. To achieve this, I have to name my games with z. Example: zSuper Mario 64

It's a workaround until sorting can become possible

Didn't want to resort to that, but if I really must...

Hi!, I have a question but is just for curiosity, I know Loadiine doesn't have USB access, but why it need a IOSU exploit to work? Wup Installer from Dimok has a USB install option, I didn't test it so i don't know if it works, but I thought having USB access on Kernel Exploit was imposible and WUP installer has a USB option, with this in mind we have USB access in Kernel mode, so... it should be possible to add USB acess to Loadiine? Thanks! :)
I repeat, this is just curiosity, I'm not asking for this feature to be added.

I have currently trouble with loadiine and I don't understand why.
2 hours ago, I was able to launch kernel exploit without issue ( FW version: 5.5.1) but now it is not possible anymore.
When I am trying to launch the Kernel exploit on wj44.ml, I have systematically error code 112-2600. Can someone confirm if it is currently working ? Do you have any idea about the issue ?

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
