I've sent my Japanese Pokemon limited edition clear red 2DS to hundshamer around the end of March,
and haven't heard back from him since.. June.
It wasn't even for a port mod; it was simply to reflash over the nand.
He previously told me its done, just that he ran out of cash to send it back (even though I prepaid him).
I've got his address.
I got friends who live in US (albeit not the same area, but maybe they'll be happy to take a roadtrip?)
What can be done at this point?

Yeah certainly bad luck.
I waited and waited and waited.
In June he said he was done, but ran out of cash, but I didn't mind paying for the shipping again.
He advised me to do via shipping label,
But the Web wouldn't allow me to proceed if I didn't have a US credit card.
And he said he "would have the funds by next week", and went dark again since.
He's had activity yet didn't even reply messages.
Frustration.
I didn't mind waiting, but radio silence when there has been activity,
And everyone else being in the dark is bad.
Would gbatemp admins be able to see his IP,
And check if he's been using a different account?
And also the emails he used for PayPal.

If you have zero soldering skills don't attempt, I've had to turn enough people down and tell them to buy new consoles because they "thought" they could do it.
I've been soldering for a while. This is a cross post from the mod thread...Here is a before (background) and after (foreground) pic of soldering the wires in the OP to some pretty tight points (less than 1/32" gap between adjacent pads) on the back side of a Naze32 board. The flux I use leaves a little bit of black residue. Is this job good enough to do the 3ds?<br /><br />

I've been to his chicken restaurant he started in his 2nd movie, Holy Chicken, was pretty good. It is only 15-20 miles from me in Ohio. It only lasted 1 yr or so then closed tho.

There are very few people I just have just an immense dislike of and he's one of those very few people, the only other example is Gene Simmons. My musician uncle on my mother's side of the family actually met Gene once during some event and said he was the most unpleasant person to be around.
