No one said Ninokuni yet?
A game coproduced by Studio Ghibli should by definition be at the top of this list.
OK, it's only released in Japan.

Professor Layton is also great on the visuals department.

Well the animations are great and I considered it, but the battles don't look to great. Though I guess it counts, the animations are a big part of the game.

...Isn't this thread kinda vague :/ I mean if you're counting both 2D and 3D games, technically any game could be considered "Amazing" graphically.. Depending on your taste in art style, or whatever...

..*ahem* Just ignore me .___. And I'm pretty sure any game I would've said has already been mentioned xD

Hmm, Might I suggest that you add screenshots to each game? just have the name of the game as the spoiler title, and then the screenies inside...

i wouldn't say Kingdom Heart Re:coded is a puzzle game, but okay.

i'd recommend Soma Bringer. press SELECT five times and you'll see the reason i'm speaking about.

I can't believe ASH Archaic Sealed Heat isn't in this list. come on, tons of CGI scenes, full CGI combat, it's just like how Golden Sun was on the GBA, except this one's on the DS. even on the 3DS it looks absolutely divine.

As for Soma Bringer... *iseewatudidthur*

and as for Kingdom Hearts, puzzle as a genre with nothing else is pretty misleading. that's like putting it up there with Crossword and Picross and Jewel Quest and Tangrams. I'd say Wiki was trolled. it's obviously an Action RPG, because a) it's action-oriented and combat is real-time, and b) it has tons of RPG elements in it, like levelling up, equipments, and even skill/stat matrices using Tetriminos. at most, it has puzzle elements, like triggering switches scattered around the map. heck, it even has very strong platforming elements.

so no, KingdomHearts=/=puzzle. and Wiki can be wrong. if you want something that's the other way around (a predominantly puzzle game with RPG elements), look at Puzzle Quest Warlords and Might and Magic Clash of Heroes. but even those titles don't classify as just "puzzle", as they're clearly hybrids.

To me this now looks just like a list of 'post your favourite DS games'... maybe it's just a coincidence?

Anyway, Animal Crossing! I love the cartoony style of it an advantage to this style is there are no jagged edges.

as for the character, it's full of details. i like the weapons graphics too.

It's considered a puzzle by Wikipedia, which is where I'm getting the genres from.
you should use a more game-oriented website like IGN. like Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butouden, which is an amazing fighting game and not a beat 'em up like Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (i think you can put it in the list).

it's in the list. there's a BBcode error where it is, though.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing has great graphics for a racing game on DS.
Speed Racer was nice too.

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight has some good graphics for a DS fighting game. They could have used that engine to make a DS Tekken.

You have to admit that both Nanostray games are beautiful to look at.
