Gaming Linux Mint Running WIndows 7 Bootloader

I installed linux mint then went to easy bcd, reinstalled the vista bootloader, and booted up. I got "THE BLACK SCREEN OF DOOOOOOOOOM!!!!" HEWP!

Take the Vista DVD, stick it in the drive, boot it up by manually selecting it or using the bios to configure CD/DVD as first boot.

Select Repair and you can either let it automatically repair or run command prompt and type:

bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot

Then restart.

He's using windows 7, which probably explains the black screen.

Ugh...it doesn't matter what version they both work the same way. If you're using Windows 7 then put the Windows 7 DVD in. Also, he plainly states that he has the Vista bootloader.
