As long as the emuNAND (or "nandemu" as you called it) is on 10.4-10.6, I believe it should work just fine

Why would you not be able to run applications?
Thanks to xerpi's work, Weston (Wayload compositor), runs. /start-weston.sh -- a GUI works.

It doesn't show anything when you're typing the password, but it is accepting input. Just type the password blindly and hit enter.
