What really is the Advanced Install?
I want a video of what that is.
i think its so that if an emulator loads an IOS it can access the DVDlib still, say the HBC uses IOS21, u can install the DVDlib to that IOS and the homebrew channel could load apps from DVD say. hope that clears it up a bit

This is a great step, but like some people, i have no use for this, seeing as my small tiny helpless wii is sitting on my powerhouse Xbox 360 elite. ( i would like to say "which is sitting on an even more powerful PS3", but i dont have one)

still, its not working! i have it set up like this, X:\apps\mplayer\all the files from the zip\

what am i doing wrong! i installed the dvd lib! it loads, but there's no menu HELP!!! :cry

This is very nice. I tried it out and it worked like a charm. Does this work with burned DVDs?

Good question. Someone try it please.

I found one solution for people having trouble. Unzip mplayer and copy the mplayer folder to the apps folder on the sd card. I tried to rename that folder and it gets stuck on the team tweazers logo. I tried it direct copy and it works perfect. The menu loads up right away.

This is a great program and has lots of potential.

Dude, all you do it take "mplayer" and put it in apps. That's it. Once there, have your dvd in your Wii. Open it up, hit "open dvd" let it load for a couple of seconds. And boom, you should be good to go

samsam12, i have the same problem, it loads perfectly, but the menue does not appear, just the background pic :S. why i am not sure

- installed the patchmii_core (since i have a chip).
- install di
- run mplayer, select DVD-Video and play. then the drive spin for few rounds and stop, nothing was load. Try another disc, also same problem

Anybody has same problem?

I have a question I have it installed perfectly but I don't really know what to do. I have my DVD in so do I go to where it says DVD-Video and then Play DVD (libdvdnav) or what?
