Sorry that my sirst post is a question (especially one I believe I know the answer to) but I would like to understand why the LG brand dvd roms are the only media to recognize the .iso's from a wii disk. Obviously, purchasing and installing one of said drives requires little effort or cost so it is not much more than a light chore but am interested in understanding why this is the only drive compatable? I'm sure it is in the search but I was unsuccessful. thanks for any input
They can rip the disc backwards so it can be burned forwards.
Also, saying ".ISO from the wii dvd" isn't technically correct as it's made into an image file (iso) once it's been read.
