Gaming lcd question

I can't find an answer to this anywhere.

Will a light colored desktop wallpaper burnt out my monitor quicker than a dark colored wallpaper?

I set my monitor to shut off after 10min of non use. But I would just like to know if a light color wallpaper makes a dif vs. a dark color.
I know the power usage increases with dark colors. But very minimally. But I would assume the backlight would burn out quicker with lighter colors?
So, conclusion, does it matter??

Unless you plan to have it for 10 years, you don't need to worry about it.

Right yeah that's what I had gathered, that it really doesn't make a big enough difference to make an impact.

as far as I know, the back light is independent of the screen itself. The reason black colors take up slightly more energy is because the screen has to block much more of the light as opposed to a lighter color (hence why poor quality lcd's have light bleeding through on the edges)
