I was wondering, is it possible to have a Linux application, like syncthing, running in the background?
maybe this will give you a answer. https://forums.libretro.com/t/lakka-as-a-kodi-libreelec-add-on/9327/17I was doing some research into LibreELEC (since Lakka is based in it) and it has an add-on repository. However (from what I understand), it seems like the add-on can only be installed on Kodi. Is it possible to install add-ons on Lakka?

Off topicThe vita has the psp’s SoC onboard (except the audio chip). So adrenaline is running on the psp subsystem within the vita. The vita’s controls are passed to the psp SoC then the video and audio is passed out back to the vita’s SoC to display it. Adrenaline is not emulated, it is more of a Remote Desktop to a real psp onboard.
So, in an effort to have access to Horizon, and Hekate, and SX Pro, I've setup my swtich by partitioning my SD card in two.
I'm wondering if there's a way to get Lakka to boot from the second partition on my SD Card. Seeing as how I can launch the payload from SX Pro
First of all. Screen burn is a physical burn. So that should answer your question . If you leave your screen on and at full brightness it MAY cause screen burn . Obviously a reset can't fix physical damage.... Second of all, if you read the Lakka info from the Ops link, it clearly states the battery bug has been fixed.hi guys i would love to test you're latest lakka build but i have some questions atm..
have been any reports of screen damage/burns lately? are those temporary until next reboot or permanent? are we now safe to use it since batery issue has been fixed?
thank you for all your work
yeah i know about the other issues, i was just wondering about screen burn, becuse i read few posts ago that it was a temporary burn thats why i asked to be sureFirst of all. As of right now , screen burn is still a thing , and no sound, docking , .... Just go read the first post link!
Maybe they're under the impression that the Switch's "logging" ability might include scanning the SD card, and makes note of things that probably shouldn't be there, though if it could do that, then perhaps it might know to check all partitions. Then again, that in of itself could be considered invasion of privacy. You know you can have both Lakka and your switch files live under one FAT32 partition, right? I don't really understand why you put them in two separate fat32 partitions...

This is old news, one of the more recent releases changed this. instead you extract the archive to the root of your SD card in FAT32 and then run the payloadDoesn't Lakka reformat the disk to EXT3 or whatever variant linux format? Like when you flash the IMG to the SD card?

I would just put the switch in RCM mode and run the supplied batch scripts instead of using SX, but I can't speak with certainty as I don't have SX ProReally!?
Perhaps I should experiment with this first. Hopefully I can boot Lakka from the SX Pro by simply selecting the payload ...
Thanks for the heads up!

Gotcha, that makes sense. I'm not too certain how to do it, but I assume it's doable. The idea is to be able to boot in and out of Lakka and CFW and Horizon, without the need to be tethered to a computer. I.E
