I was wondering, is it possible to have a Linux application, like syncthing, running in the background?

I was doing some research into LibreELEC (since Lakka is based in it) and it has an add-on repository. However (from what I understand), it seems like the add-on can only be installed on Kodi. Is it possible to install add-ons on Lakka?

The vita has the psp’s SoC onboard (except the audio chip). So adrenaline is running on the psp subsystem within the vita. The vita’s controls are passed to the psp SoC then the video and audio is passed out back to the vita’s SoC to display it. Adrenaline is not emulated, it is more of a Remote Desktop to a real psp onboard.

So, in an effort to have access to Horizon, and Hekate, and SX Pro, I've setup my swtich by partitioning my SD card in two.

I'm wondering if there's a way to get Lakka to boot from the second partition on my SD Card. Seeing as how I can launch the payload from SX Pro

You know you can have both Lakka and your switch files live under one FAT32 partition, right? I don't really understand why you put them in two separate fat32 partitions...

First of all. Screen burn is a physical burn. So that should answer your question . If you leave your screen on and at full brightness it MAY cause screen burn . Obviously a reset can't fix physical damage.... Second of all, if you read the Lakka info from the Ops link, it clearly states the battery bug has been fixed.

As of right now , screen burn is still a thing , and no sound, docking , .... Just go read the first post link!

Perhaps this has already been answered (there are 39 pages at this point), but with Lakka.tv, is this loaded instead of Horizon on cold boot via RCM? (Read a page back. This seems to be the case.) Would this help prevent Nintendo's means of logging information since that is part of Horizon? For me, I only really care about homebrew (or perhaps more specifically, the ability to play retro games), but I really don't want to use a CFW right now just for homebrew when folks are getting banned. I know it's only a few atm because of homebrew specifically (though they may have done more than just that), but Nintendo may not have done a ban wave just yet. If this is handled the way I think it's handled, then it might be perfect for the time being.

Anyways, with SX Pro, is there a way to load Lakka.tv via SX's ability to load an external payload? I have an SX Pro, but until things get stable and less prone to bans, I only care about the dongle and jig.

Maybe they're under the impression that the Switch's "logging" ability might include scanning the SD card, and makes note of things that probably shouldn't be there, though if it could do that, then perhaps it might know to check all partitions. Then again, that in of itself could be considered invasion of privacy.

Doesn't Lakka reformat the disk to EXT3 or whatever variant linux format? Like when you flash the IMG to the SD card?

This is old news, one of the more recent releases changed this. instead you extract the archive to the root of your SD card in FAT32 and then run the payload

Really!?

Perhaps I should experiment with this first. Hopefully I can boot Lakka from the SX Pro by simply selecting the payload ...

Thanks for the heads up!

I would just put the switch in RCM mode and run the supplied batch scripts instead of using SX, but I can't speak with certainty as I don't have SX Pro

The idea is to be able to boot in and out of Lakka and CFW and Horizon, without the need to be tethered to a computer. I.E

Gotcha, that makes sense. I'm not too certain how to do it, but I assume it's doable.

I'm sure someone else on here has done this and could probably point you in the right direction if you need any assistance with this

This gets me EXTREMELY excited. I really, really, really hope this can, in the future, be further improved to run PSP/N64 games better. The idea of having a decent portable emulator is just incredible tbh.
