Hacking RELEASE Kosmos - A Hekate CFW-package

Just downloaded Kosmos and launched Atmosphere from the CFW shortcut, launching from the payload would trigger a fusee-secondary.bin error. Typing from noobland here, and since that's the first time I hack my switch and was already on 7.0, I can't install .NSP files through Goldleaf, it still crashes when I try :-(

I guess I will have to wait for a new version of Goldleaf with the right sigpatches package for newly hacked switcharous... :-/

It crashes because latest kosmos doesn't include any sigpatches

The sig patches are right below the regular download. They're separated for legal issues but they're still there.

So just merge the atmosphere folders and you’re good to go then?

Yep. They're separated because some places wanted the sigpatches separate to ensure the 'core' package' cannot be used for piracy. Combining the two is all you need to do.

Weird that that's all you need to do to satisfy legality. It’s so transparent.

Download any Kosmos release and open the hekate_ipl.ini file. Tell me when you see a line that says kip1patch=nosigchk

The ESPatches.zip is missing the ES patch for firmware 7.0.0, which is F65FBA401BAC3CDDEA4917DE22E8B426B3A6C3AD

It's on purpose to comply with retroNX rules. Check the changelog and https://github.com/AtlasNX/Kosmos/issues/187

1) What is ES patches? What is this one that's missing? Do I need it or not? How do I add it if I do?
2) Does this version of Kosmos not allow you to install 90% of NSPs like natkoden says?

It also depends on what you intend to use to install those NSP.

Thanks! I found it on there. No idea what I need it for, but I suppose it can't hurt so I added it.

I also found another version of the patches with a bunch under kip_patches/fs_patches that aren't in the Kosmos build. Are these necessary?

Yep. That 11th patch is there now.

Is anyone else getting an error with extracting the Atmosphere folder from the SDSetup zip file? I’ve tried redownloading it a few times this-morning and still getting the same error.
