Hacking Kmeaw CFW 3.41 to 3.55?

I am planning to upgrade my PS3 from CFW 3.41 to CFW 3.55. Do I need to install OFW 3.55 first then Kmeaw CFW 3.55 or just straight to CFW 3.55?

you should go to the OFW

You can install straight, but it's generally recommended in guides to first go to the OFW3.55.
It shouldn't be a problem, as the cFW 3.55 have all the files and will overwrite the 3.41 files.


Just a note.
I don't think there's any "Kmeaw 3.41", you are maybe in MFW 3.41 or in cFW 3.41 Hermes.

I went from OFW 3.41 straight to kmeaw 3.55 on my cecha ps3; been good to go for me. Only problem I've had with it was not so much kmeaw's firmware, but one of rebug's spoofers causing a semi-brick situation.
