Kirby Mass Attack, slated for an August 4th release in Japan, a September 19th release in America, and October 28, 2011 for Europe. Kirby Mass Attack has been recently given an overview trailer detailing the features of the game, including the methods of control, attack, and story, as well as minigames.

The game, contrary to some rumors, DOES have a health system, and health is specific to individual Kirby copies. The game is also heavily touch based.

Game looks like a lot of fun.

Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to make this the official discussion thread.

I'd appreciate if this would become the disscussion thread.

Mods?

I'd happily take a title change. Maybe "Kirby Mass Attack Official Discussion Thread" or something.

Well i think this looks weird even thaught not bad ...

but heavy touch based does sound very bad, for me the worst thing on the DS/3DS is when a game is "fast" paced and needs touch controll .. preffer to only use touch screen for menues and even than i mostly preffer using the D pad.

and why the hell NDS and not 3DS -.-V ok doesn't really matter much still now that the 3DS is out "so long" they should do more games in 3d

Well i hope they do a really good "normal" kirby game for 3ds.

When I first saw this game it quickly reminded me of Pikmin. Did anyone else get that impression?
Yes, the game has a lot of key features that are similar to Pikmin; some are calling it Pikmin: Kirby Edition.

I don't think that's a bad thing at all; These kinds of games are often fun and intuitive.

I'm glad that even though Sakurai left Hal way back when that we're still getting promising looking Kirby titles. Both Mass Attack and Return To Dreamland look like great games and I can't wait for both of them.

Updated the release date for the American version; It's actually the 19th, not the 17th.

I also added a EU release...Or well, an absence of one.

Does anyone have a link to the song played in the video in the first post? That song is adorable!
I don't think that there is a public version of the song yet; Probably in the soundtrack though!
