Just finished it last night. The ending kinda threw me off though because the final boss battle felt less epic than fighting one of the other bosses. I felt confused and disappointed... but it was still a good game nonetheless.
finished it some hours ago
i actually liked the final boss, solely because of who it is

Yeah, awesome one.
I was a bit surprised when I saw who it is.

But I knew it as soon as he
made a keyblade appear, already before his second one.
I think I'm gonna replay the game on a higher difficulty (critical should be the highest one, right?) as I'm pretty bored now.

After beating the game I've concluded that it deserves a 6/10.

Though the beginning of the game was amazing (Exploring Destiny Islands and Traverse Town) it rapidly declined in quality after re-using (Again) the same worlds with the same music. Exploring different worlds would have been MUCH better.

The Command System was great. The variety of moves and combos was definitely a plus compared to 358/2, however the item menu is severely limited. The number of Key Blades and other items were restrained. Upon a fairly thorough completion I found myself with less than 8 Keyblades and 7 Rings...

The Stat/ Chip arrangement, though a new concept, is also frustrating. Though you gain skills such as Haste and High Jump early on, you aren't given nearly enough Chips/Debug devices to unlock a majority of the board the first time around.

The temporary leveling system is disheartening. You bash countless enemies to attain many attributes such as Brick Wall, only to be taken away by accidentally using the Finish Command, which isn't even strong (Unless it utilizes ABXY, or Up Down Left Right)

The dialogue was a pain to watch. I would've much preferred the method of talking in 358/2.

Now unless I missed something, I was really hoping to use Cloud my first time through the Colosseum Maze. The victory scenes, even the fight sequences all had a third slot just for Cloud.

All and all, it killed some time, but nothing special. Didn't shat one brick...

Clearly you weren't playing in critical mode, the game even states that you get better rewards etc.
I'm about halfway done and my command matrix is all filled up so far, and i have taken the time to complete all challenges etc.
I have a lot more than 7 rings too.
I doubt your completion was thorough then... to get the most out of it, or in fact, any KH game, you gotta play it in critical mode.

Except for fighting Hades and Riku, I was in Critical Mode. I even had the drop rate multiplied by 6, cutting my health down to 70%. I find it curious that your matrix is filled all the way at the half way mark. You only receive a limited number of Chips before you have to cash in your CP for Exp. (Unless you come across one that doubles infinitely) Plus I'm at 88% with the entire metal star boxes.. Maybe I might have missed a few key bonus areas or something along the lines. Regardless my main concern is the storyline, which pales in comparison with other KH games.

finished the game on proud and lv 15 the whole game.
its pretty good for a ds game and it wasnt so bad for a KH game.
there is just some problems:

1= its just like re:com, but with some new stuff
2= they've put only the boring stages, i mean who loves wonderland? ¬¬ I NEED HALLOWENTOWN
3= man, 358/2 was so cool with that mission mode and so many chars to choose
4= the only rly good part was the ending, with that bottle message thing

8/10 bcz its just like recycle, u use something old to make a new thing, but in the end u know its still the same.
lets wait for the kh 3d to see if its not another "RE:" stuff

Who cares for Wonderland? I don't, but when it comes between them and Agrabah, I'll take Wonderland any day of the week. Seriously. I was getting into the game so much, I finished up Wonderland, I loved Colosseum, and as soon as I touched Agrabah, I turned it off.

Agrabah is bull. For one thing, it's look for others, and the shopkeeper doesn't count as a person now?

Wonderland is the better of the two, as it has the best music (Only beaten by Dearly Beloved and Traverse Town)

thats true, but the other worlds in 358/2 and KH 2 were way better than the one that we have in this game. to tell the truth i only like the "data areas" (those bug things), hallowen town and original coliseum forever!!! XD
now that i'm replaying in critical mode i see that wonderland isn't that bad (agrabah is even worst), i think i dont like wonderland because of the story (hate alice in wonderland) but the stage by itself is pretty cool.

for those who cleared the game...
don't u think that the "last stage", the one with the cards, was quite disapointing, i was hoping to see the other members, because the scene with the black robe guy remembered me Larxene and the kh re:com scene where se gives sora a card, after that i was hoping to see any member from organization XIII (not roxas).

This game is pretty lame compared to the PSP or PS2 version.. I know, I know they are much more powerful and has analog sticks but still. This game was kinda weak. Haven't played it a lot tho.

4/10

Funny because there's no PSP nor PS2 version. Just a mobile phone version.

I'm sure he meant Birth By Sleep and KH 1 and 2.

Yea I mean't the first PS2 one and Birth by sleep.

Sorry if I got you confused sir.

Am I the only one who finds that I'm getting killed by cheap deaths A LOT in this game? Especially when you have to open the backdoor in Agrabah. I had to level up like 3 levels to level 20 to stand a chance.

I think I had some trouble in Agrabah too, don't know specifically where.

The last post-game system sector is giving me the worst of times though

I'm in Hollow Bastien, nearing the keyhole, and playing on Proud mode (my first run) at lvl ~21. I get killed by boxes alot.

I'm in "Riku" in Agrabah. I hate boxes now, especially the metal ones..!

I'm only in the Collosseum. Been meaning to play it more, but I don't really like it all that much. I beat 358/2 in about two weeks, and Birth by Sleep in about three days, in both Japanese AND English. Re:Coded, however, I just don't want to play. When 358/2 and BBS came out, I couldn't stop playing.

I'm the exact same way. I've been in Agrabah for the last 4 days. And that's because I get fed up of being killed by cheap deaths. I'm trying to heal, and these 5 lightning heartless shoot five bolts at me and it just hits me consecutively, and then one of those hurt boxes runs into me because it keeps moving, and then one of those glitched heartless, the big guys in Agrabah, shot a fireball at me and hit me. And I was at full health too, and it killed me. I've been stuck in this damn place forever.

I'm done with the game. The controls, while somewhat decent, are still bad, and the camera angle in the "backdoors" are just horrrrible. I'm also tired of being killed by cheap deaths. Days was awesome. BbS was amazing, this is just a huge disappointment. Done with the game, I'm playing Ghost Trick.

As I always do with Kingdom Hearts games, I started this one on Standard. The game feels almost too easy to me. You need the higher difficulties, otherwise this game just is not difficult. Regardless, I kept going on Standard, as I don't feel like changing difficulty half way through.

I blasted through all the worlds the game presents you with in about 8 hours and am now doing what I presume to be part of the end game portion.

Where I am:

I'm at the point where you're in Riku's data trying to clear the bugs. I beat the first level, went on to Traverse Town and have almost beat that, and am almost ready to move on to the third.

I found the Wonderland portion to be exceedingly simple. Agrabah was a cake walk too, although I had hit level 20 awhile before I walked in there. Even when you are deprived of abilities, I haven't had issues. I find the battle system to be far more polished than any of the hand held KH battle systems before it. I freaking love mixing abilities to find that getting Thundaga was as simple as could be.

The system sectors though for the bug clearing though, I find to be very repetitive. Going through the same bug sectors over and over and over again just isn't very fun. I find myself getting bored with where I am now, as I know more and more of the boring data scape stuff awaits me. That's my only real gripe with this game besides the kinda awful camera though.

Am I the only one who's game lagged a little when:

You have Donald and Goofy with you and tons of enemies appear on screen with tons of blocks around?

I guess there is just too much on the screen there for my little MicroSD card to handle.

The only kind of gimmicky thing that annoyed me really was the boss sequence for Wonderland. The Coliseum fighting was actually pretty entertaining. I found it to be a good break from the normal mashing of A with X thrown in in between whenever you see an enemy. Of course, the two bosses were really easy with that battle system thrown in. By far the easiest bosses in the game once you use some of the many many licenses you find.

Real quick note about the stat and level system: It is far more polished than the Days system was, so I actually find myself enjoying it. The way it is organized, how the doubling works, it is much better. I'm not a huge fan of "once it's there, you can't just pick it back up," but blank chips do their job well enough in those situations.

End thoughts for now: This game is significantly better than Days, which I had to literally struggle through just so I could say that I beat it. The battle system is more polished. The game flows in a far more linear, Kingdom Hearts fashion. There are far less annoying gimmicks than people say there are, and not all of them are all that bad.

Can anyone help me?

I don't know how to get the alternate card of Agrabah (in Castle Oblivion)

BTW: I like this game cuz it has commands, I hope they'll make this for every KH game now
