Remember all those demos ? Those run on normal DS's, not on DSi's...

I really don't think it's gonna come out on dsi only, even if it did , there is no way I would buy a dsi just to play KH, even though I'm a fan, this story about roxas have already read the book By Shiro Amano, and on the topic of piracy square Enix can jump on a lake, don't get me wrong I love the company, But how do you expect compete and make money out of the exact same game that has come out twice before, once on super nintendo, and ps1, loved chrono cross by the way, the only changes they made on chrono trigger ds was adding a new ending, other than same graphics same game play same same everything, they're just looking for a skip goat, because of their failure.

There is no such thing as DSi exclusive. It has no extra hardware that the games can use.

They're going to have to sell a crapload more DSis to really start releasing DSi only games outside of Nintendo itself I think. It'd be stupid of a developer with zero vested interest int he DSi, yet a VERY strong interest in maximizing sale to release a DSi only title untilt hey sell several millions more of them.

Nintendo will happily release DSi only games as it's their baby AND in their prime interest to attempt to increase sales of it, which they will likely attempt to do so by providing very good(maybe) first party titles for it hoping to entice suckers into buying it... Although the Japanese seem to have gone against good sense and are already snapping them, which I can't understand as unless they know something that we don't, the DSI's specs don't warrant the purchase and just about every Japanese that was likely to buy a DS probably already has one. I'm quite puzzled by it's popularity in Japan unless as I mentioned above the Japanese know more about it's specs than we do elsewhere... I mean, sure I could see the Japanese buy the latest gadget IF it had some truly new neato nifty keen features(Japanese seem to be quite happy buying what the rest of us would consider beta or worse hw if it's uber"cool") and better specs, but just he DSi?!

One big draw for them is the improved features and hardware as well as the lack of any piracy devices as to date for the DSi which is driving more game companies to make DSi only games. One such company is Square Enix who is currently in the works with a new Final Fantasy title, not a simple game, but a full length game which you would expect for a DS. They announced that the game will contain many features that are only capable on the DSi.

So folks, sorry to break the bad news, but we may see a large influx of DSi only titles in the future and not some half-assed DSiWare games and apps as we once expected.

Where did you find this out? I would like to further investigate this.
Hopefully some smart japanese dude will make something to pirate the games...
