I don't think the KoD patch coming out in a few minutes is true, since there's no sign of that from KoD.

And people are laughing about the fact people think that.

"you need to not beleive everything you read, i actually havn't attempted anything on fixing this gametoday because of all the other noobs talking total rubish about how to patching this game, i read some really dumb stuff in the last few days that has really suprised me about how stupid some people are that are trying toi sound intelligent and act like they know what their doing but they don't, i'm talking about really dumb things like change the 6.20 fileds in the param.sfo to 5.00.....
change the update folder on the umd in your umd drive so the iso thinks that it's playing a 6.20 game....
use an eboot from another game.....
And my personal favourite "edit the files in the update folder"

People contiune to attempt to get it to work on gen, even though i told you early on it was impossible and later on even got a quote from the team gen site themselves saying it was impossible to get it working on gen,

a decryptor isn't going to fix this it needs a new cfw, or a gen update, the OPNSSMP.BIN has been in most releases for the past month and it hasn't stopped any of them from working

A lot of these idiots are trying to edit the file in umd gen not realising their is hidden data that they are losing when they re-save it..... helllo? have you not noticed the 100mb that dissapears when you swap a file?
I'm attempting to fix this but i think it's beyond my capabilities, i never did have much luck with jap games....
if this was a eur or usa game i'd be inspired to make more of an effort, but really what am i gaining? just a load of noobs to come out of the woodwork saying they invented a fix and did it by hex editing the UMD_DATA.BIN?"

and he clearly says that he's not working on a patch, because of noobs who'll say they made it themselves
he actually confirmed that kingdom hearts bbs never turn on gen, except if there's an upgrade for CFW
and yoshihiro confirmed that.

so no patch for the moment

Yes it doesn't work on any custom firmware at all.
There are ppl working on patches, but many have already tried and given up.
It has a supreme protection really...

-in sysdir there's another bin i guess its unknown


thats what i think the problem is

or mabye this game loads from the umd only




also another weird thing if you open it up with umdgen NONE of the file's is in Japanese
