Right now, I don't care for the cutscenes, translation is not always 100% accurate. I'll just play it for fun from time to time, until the USA version is released.

They need to get their priorities straight and not waste time on games that are already coming to the US. Spend time on games
that will never be released here, like all the tales games and various other rpgs we will never see.

I think this is disrespectful to SE and the KH series in general. If it was just a menu/command patch then it would be ok but this translates some of the cutscenes.

Wow thanks guys who did this.
This is very helpful b/c the game is released in 4 months. I don't know but that sound like a long time to wait, heck even if it was 2 months i would still get this.
Since this isn't a full translation though it kind of kills the plot and spoiles everything. I think i'll just skip all the cutscenes

I'm skipping the fmvs anyway. There are about a hundred of them and I don't feel I'm missing much. Besides, from the little I played of the DS one they seem like terrible stories anyway. I'm only hoping the gameplay doesn't suck as much on PSP.

358/2 is especially wonderful! It's just not paced very well..........

Seems, real. I'm quite surprised. At the very least it seems to be just a menu/commands/items translation which is good enough for me.
The english revisions are pretty sporadic. Menus are not translated, but the descriptions are so you can tell which one is "save game" even if it's not english. Several tutorial statements are translated at least, so it's enough to get into the game.

I noticed a few captions in subtitles are translated, but only a few. Not surprising for a 0.4 release or whatever the iteration is. But if you play this and cannot read any Japanese then you will miss the plot entirely--other than discerning it from body language or just not caring. I prefer the latter. It's a Kingdom Hearts game: annoying spikey haired kid runs around and talks to other spikey haired emo people, they yammer on for hours about stuff that is boring and makes no sense to anybody over the age of 13 and a few 40-year-old hambeasts obsessed with anything of japanese origin as long as it's peppered with underaged girls depicted without noses and varying types of unnatural hair color. Eventually you interact with some Disney characters and things are slightly less boring. Then you remember that you can press the start button at any time to skip the cutscenes and want to pay money for the game just because of that.

Who in this series is emo?
How would a 3 year old understand these games? They are about as convoluted as Metal Gear Solid 2
Who doesn't have a nose in these games? lol

I have a feeling someone's just being bitter and hasn't played the games before.

=P

Were you ever a Disney or Final Fantasy fan?

Cool those flames. Some people like the story, some people like the action. Just like in WoW some people like PvE and some people like PvP. In hand helds some people like NDS and some people like PSP. If someone doesn't like watching the cutscenes that's their choice for whatever reason right or wrong. Me personally I watch them because I find it fun to try to figure out what they are saying based on body language. Once the English version comes out I can see how close I came to figuring it out. It's like a whole nother game within the game.

Yo dawg, I heard u lieked games, so I put a game in yo game, so you can play while you play.

Tsk tsk, you don't like it because you don't understand it. Each game adds on to the incredible story of friendship(omg corny, but seriously), The game also Teaches you a lesson, in some hypnotic way. I doubt you could conjure up a better story.

Better story you say? Not trying to flame this topic but 90% of the "Story" I've seen in KH has been done in other games. It seems that after SquareSoft fused with Enix (KH2 and on) they just took the ideas of other games and fused them together. Yes, I can name examples for almost everything in KH and where I've seen it before KH but I am not going to on this topic.

On Topic: I just though I'd point out that you have a grammatical error in your topic name, it says Somen instead of of Someone. Not trying to be mean or anything, just though I would point it out. XD
