I play my DS more than any machine I have including 360 & Wii (I only play the Wii for a bit of Wii Sports Zelda was great and took a lot of time from me its one of those games I go back to every year), I find myself more immersed in some of those games than 360 though I don't get achy hands or elbows when playing 360 games but at least when I get a powercut (which happens a lot in my house due to crap circuitry) I wont lose my place.

At the moment the 360 does top the current next gen consoles but looking at what will be out by the end of the year it'll be the Wii I love the most.

I think the point he was getting at was that surround sound is beneficial to the 360. Studio monitors are awesome for clarity, but as picky as I am with my sound, I'd probably still go for surround sound over precision for gaming. Even surround sound emulation or widening the stereo field just doesn't cut it.

Reemixx understood what I was saying at least. Anyways, comparing a ds to a 360 is like comparing a laptop to a desktop computer, it really depends on what you really need at the time and what you would rather be able to do with it. Anyways, any system with armored core on it is A+ in my book...now if only one of the systems had a Phantom Crash sequel I would splurge on a system

Great choice. Good thing you aren't getting a PS3. It dont have really big differences with the 360.

I'll be playing most 360 games on my pc, which is my main visual-appealing-console. Well, until now that is. With DirectX10 I can't keep it up anymore, and I'll have to stick all the way to pure gameplay aka Wii/DS (even though I still have to buy a wii lol).

I have the perfect combination: a Nintendo DS + a Nintendo Wii + a PC.

I enjoy exclusive Nintendo games, great graphics (PC) and unique controls. What else does a gamer need

Well, a 360 or a PS3

I think I'm going to buy one in a few years. Last generation I had a Gamecube, and it had great titles like Timesplitters and Resident Evil 4. Some titles (like RE4) were not only great because of the gameplay, but also because of the graphics. These games weren't available for the PC...
When I'm seeing games like RE5 or Haze I really want a 360 or PS3... Unless they suck after all

(I had that with the new Sonic the Hedgehog, I almost bought a 360 for it

I just got my 360, didn't sell my DS tho. As people have already mentioned, the DS and the Xbox360 are designed for completely different reasons so it's an unfair judgement.

b.t.w.... Where did you get your monitors from? I'm after a new pair for my synth rig.

I never did understand people who read, eat, talk on the phone, or play with the DS while on the toilet. I just go in, do what needs doing, and get out. I don't have any urge to dwell in there for any length of time...

Well, it can be one of those days...where it takes a while and instead of sitting there staring at the wall...you can play DS or read a magazine or talk on the phone....but eating while on the toilet, is just nasty and unsanitary...

Never played DS outdoors, but I'm going to miss my Advance Wars toilet-sessions
That's too much information.

Yeah...sure...like you never play DS on the crapper...

No I haven't, ever. I concur with dsbomb. Apparently I do not suffer from chronic constipation such as yourself.

Nothing to do with constipation, I just like to take my time.

Think of it like a leisurely stroll in the countryside

haha i like doing this, too. however, I minimized this practice cuz my bro-in-law says it raises chances of hemmorhoids (i think it's true, cuz the butt-hole stays open for longer or something)
