Okay, sorry for the funny title, but try to empathize with me. I bought a switch at launch, and after online stopped being free, I basically stopped playing it. The last thing I really did was hack it in September of 2018, to see what homebrew was like now that I didn't care about going online. Fast-forward to 2020, and I haven't used my switch pretty much at all. Let's just say, I don't have the free time that I used to have, and there are better things for me to be doing than playing games, and so I'm working on trimming down my collection, and that includes my Switch. My problem is, I don't feel comfortable selling it unless I know exactly what I have. I don't want to set somebody up with a bad system just from my making a mistake somewhere.
Here is what I remember:
-I hacked it using a guide that appears to no longer exist (I went to same place that I found it, and the same location now has an "updated" guide
-my switch, when it is completely powered down, does not turn on to normal boot, but instead enters "RCM Mode"
-I use a software called TegraRcmGUI to boot my switch, which requires me to plug my switch into it, and inject a payload
-the payload is a file called "Hekate_ctcaer_4.6.bin".
-When I inject the payload, I get to a screen that lets me either 1) launch stock firmware, or 2) launch CFW
-When I boot into CFW, everything looks normal, except that I can launch homebrew screen by launching the Pictures application
-I installed some homebrew from the hombre channel, but I never did much more with it
-I think my switch was on 5.x (it was more than 5.0 but less than 6.0) when I hacked it, and I never updated it in stock or in CFW
-for some reason, I don't see the firmware version listed on the system menu
-I think I have been online once, only to access the eShop, and only to download a game I had bought via Nintendo's website (on PC) and to download the game's free DLC (game was Ultimate Chicken Horse)
I hope this is enough information, if you need any other info then let me know. Basically, what I'm looking for is:
1) What all can you reason I did with my Switch? Assume a light touch as I don't remember doing anything with the system after it was hacked beyond playing Smash Ultimate (offline).
2) If necessary, can I undo whatever I did?
3) Anything changed in hacking since I did all this that is of note?
Sorry if this is asking a lot, I hope you can bear with me and help me out with this lost knowledge.
