Apple Just got a great deal on a new 3GS

So on black Friday my work, Apple and AT&T had great deals on iDevices as long as you were eligible for an upgrade.
My wives phone has been on the brink of failure for the last few days and I was able to get her a 3GS for 50$! She not real tech savvy but i know she'll like it. I could have gotten a 4g for 100$ but for her it would have been overkill. If they have this deal next year I'll pick up a 4g for myself. Anyone else get deals like this?
