Yes, because the PSN is currently not infested by hackers of any sort right now, utilizing lag switches, god mode, and other hacks during gameplay of Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops, and a whole load of other games. Not at all.

Don't lag switches work on Xbox too? My understanding was it was an actual hardware device that is unrelated to the console itself.

Offtopic: lag switches are why I play Halo. You have more than .05 seconds to react to someone shooting you, and thus can still retaliate regardless of lag.

This reminds me of the PS2 era. The DC was the first online console to be overrun with cheaters, player killers, etc. (PSO people know what I'm talking about.) Then PS2 was breached, and the entire online network was full of screaming, cheating, 12 year punks. (PS2 online was living hell.) Xbox Live had some problems, but for the most part it was better than PS2 or DC. That was one of the biggest strengths of the first Xbox.

I personally think this story is fanboy spin (its kinda sensatinal) designed to take attention away from the fact that both consoles have trouble with online cheaters, etc.

after playing all the past weekend MW2 and BlackOps I didn't run into any cheaters in BlackOps, and as for MW2 i got into only 2 hacked lobby (as apposed to getting into a hacked lobby every time i tried playing last week i.e. before the banning)
