I just bought these aluminum heatsinks with adhesive thermal tape on the bottom to mount to a ram chips And also these "almost" 1/2 inch thermal pads I was just wondering if these would make my "xbox jasper jtag" run cooler so I'll make a post with before and after pics.

description of items and where I purchased them from:

I'm Just wondering if anyone else has thermal pads or heat sinks inside their rgh/jtag.

( My Temps are around 55°c on CPU GPU MEM with 85% FANspeed and I I want it lower because it was lower when I 1st bought it 4 years ago with out the fan speed so high...)

I still need to purchase arctic silver 5 so it may be a day or two to post the after pics. I'm just iffy about the heat sinks adhesive tape not holding up and the aluminum heat sink falling off the ram chips and shorting the MB killing my jtag :wtf:...

Post your thoughts please. Much appreciated

Get Arctic MX-5.
Those pads should theoretically be sticky enough to hold.
I haven't gotten around placing heatsinks in mine tho.
Although I did mount a 40mm fan on the 2nd GPU heatsink running 7v I think.
Lowered temps quite a bit as I also drilled out a hole.

Then again, 360 works on negative pressure, the more open your box will be the less cooling efficient it is.
