Homebrew jEnesisDS wont work?

I am using an r4 clone (of dstti), its running MENUdo.
When i boot jEnesisDS it works, i load a rom, but the top screen keeps black. It says rom loaded and its playing, but screen is stilll black
Please help!

sonic the hedgehog one and two, after burner II and gunstar.
Am i supposed to wait more before it loads?

r4 clone? you mean fake r4 card?

Yeah, its running a DSTTi firmware with edited images.
Im pretty sure of this.

this also used to happen on the dstwo when it first came out.
Try an older version of jEnesis like 0.6, see if that works for ya.

Yeah, older versions work, but it says the new version immproves gameplay speed by 30% and stuff
