Hacking Japanese wii

hi everyone,
I am getting a modded japanese wii and wanted to ask.

What are the US and PAL games that don't work on it?
Or, where can I see a list them?

I tried looking but all I could find was japanese games that don't work on US wiis.

do I need to patch those games?
is it possible to play non japanese games without patching?

depends on your modchip if it's wiinja 1 or 2 then yes you have to patch it. if it's a wiinja deluxe, cyclowiz, wiikey, or some of the opensource solutions you don't need to patch as they patch on the fly

just be aware that non-japanese games will have european or US firmware updates that can potentially brick your wii

is it detected with that other wiis?
