ROM Hack I've got a question about Pokemon Platinum and hg/ss

This is kinda of a big question but something I was thinking about while pushing carts at Target for 8hrs today, and I'm sure I'm going to get steam rolled lol.

Is it possible to merge the two games? I would love to be able to go to multiple regions in one game? I know it would take some work, like finding a simple way to go from Johto and Kanto to Sinnoh, editing some of the text to make the story flow a bit better.

Just a thought, would be pretty cool.

No it's not possible at the moment. Would only be possible on a rom hack made from scratch, and a mighty big one at that.

Yes it would, who cares that by the time you get to sinnoh you would completely own everyone, unless the levels were adjusted to decent range. Id settle for being able to go to Hoen on the ds.
