I have PAL wiii, 3.2E, 1.9g WiiKey, using datawrite DVDs ( I know these are cheap, and:shit: probably the reason it doesnt work)

Basically i have now burned SSBB twice onto these discs, first time used truacha and region free and used the .dvd file in imgburn.

Second time just tried burning directly from image without making any changes what so ever.

Both times, it loads the game asks me to make a save file, saves, then it says loading on a black screen. Then comes up saying that it cannot read from the disk, check instruction manual. I hope its these crappy discs, but strange the same thing happens on both discs! anyone else get this problem?

Anyone got it working on 480p, I can see my plasma switch to 480i as soon as the game starts.

I burnt i twice (on 1x and 2.4x) and I can't get it to work on my PAL Wii 3.2E, Wiikey 1.9g. I already have dual channels from MP3 (U) so I assume I can burn the iso without modifying it and let it update, right? Mario Galaxy works fine.

Both discs aren't recognized by the Wii at all. The discs I used were Philips DVD+R DL (according to ImgBurn Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D01-67). My burner is a LG HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-H42N. I set the Layer break to 2084960 and select DVD+R DL DVD-ROM as booktype.

Any suggestions?

Maybe try a faster speed, like 4x or 6x

Everyone else says slower is better. So what is the best practice? On the disc only "2.4x" is written, so I assume they cannot be burned faster.

Anyone knows if the DLs I used are known to be bad?

EDIT: Burned the iso again, but this time without custom layer break and it works perfectly now

I burned all my DL's at 2.4x, even tho the case says "up to 6x on compatible burners". Some people say if you burn slower you can get DRE's because the disc or burner was designed to go faster. I got some DRE's on the 2nd Verbatim disc, but a laser power adjustment corrected that, so I assume it was more the Wii than anything.

I have now tryed burning it several times in different ways, but in the end it never works =/
The game shows up in the Disc channel but when i press play screen turn black and nothing ever happens.
So does this mean my wii is an asshole and cant read Dl discs or something else ?

btw Pal wii with Wiikey ,verbatim dl+ and everything with latest firmware.

sry for bad english
