has anyone come across this issue when the sd card is inserted, it loads boot logos, then it gives a crackle sound then nothing happens, and it seems to bugger the sd cards up or rather kill them, the sd cards no longer show up on my laptop or pc.

but everything seems fine without a sd card inserted, boots retails & boots to boot dat error.

I'd buy a new switch but seems you can't have the sx os licence transfer to a new console, even if your console breaksdown..

Crackle? That sounds like a short or an arc of some sort.. When you say trinket I assume youve hard modded the console internally?

If so open it back up and check for shorts etc..

no shorts or bridged points, but I'll have another check with my meter later, it only when I put the sd card in that it happens, am debating weather to try and find a new sd card adapter to rule that out, not sure if they crap out or not.

ok have just received my new sd card module, format the sd card to fat32 and exfat, placed files on root of sd card then I get this when I try to launch anything, if I put the boot dat file on root also that just boots to the boot dat error screen.

I have even formatted the sd card in the actual switch and still same result.

mine appears to be the new sd card module don't fit snug enough, if I apply pressure to the plug it seems to be fine, but let go it acts up again.
