You would need a way to get kernel access to get the decryption keys, so either way you'd need kernel access. It's not worth it.

I wish someone would make a game save decryptor that worked on a computer. It would make a good fail safe to extract saves if something physically damages the console but the memory card survives. Without losing any progress since the last decrypted backup.

I have had a occurrence before with a different system where I was saved by being able to decrypt after the fact helped.

I think it would be good and that is even though my system is hacked and I make regular backups and store the backups multiple places including off site for extra safety.
