Just get M3 Sakura. It's a better version of Moonshell and it's also a great firmware. Here's a link to the FAQ: http://www.tinyurl.com/m3sakura.

Not even close. It actually plays movies and music right in the GUI (doesn't boot into another media player). So put them on your SD card, navigate to them in M3 Sakura and choose them. It'll play right from the main menu. How cool is that!
