You could look on that one 3ds iso website, some cia's are there, also make sure you're using latest emunand on RXTOOLSSorry if this is a dumb question, have spent ages installing ROMs on my 4.5 3ds, and half the ROMs don't load when opened after installation
Look in system settings. If you're on the latest you should see RX-E 9.8 or something similar. How do I check if I'm using the latest emunand? (I'm using RXTools)

Use system settings to update. Just make SURE you're in emunand before doing so.Oh! I'm definitely not, it's RX-E 4.5. How do I get on the latest emunand? My 3ds is on 4.5

Make sure you see the RX-E before updating. If you don't see it, you're in sysnand and should not update.Sorry for the ignorance, when you say make sure I'm in emunand before updating do you basically mean boot into RxTools (via MSET) first?

Nope, you're screwed. The person above who tried to help you literally told you to make sure you're in emunand before updating.
Yeah I don't know how it did Sysnand, I double checked beforehand. Oh well I never used my 3ds anyway, just had curiosity
That's the most untrue statement I have heard..It seemed that you didn't de-link the nands, so it will update both your nands

The delinking is only related to installing CIA as going to data management supposedly deletes them (that doesn't happen to me and apparently a lot others). It's also to get rid of the unwrapping bug.if it is not true, then why it is instructed to delink the nands in the tutorial?
