ROM Hack Is there an easier way to install a ROM than going through the tedious process of converting to CIA?

The only choice other than CIAs is to get either a Sky3ds or a Gateway.

You could look on that one 3ds iso website, some cia's are there, also make sure you're using latest emunand on RXTOOLS

Look in system settings. If you're on the latest you should see RX-E 9.8 or something similar.

Use system settings to update. Just make SURE you're in emunand before doing so.

Sorry for the ignorance, when you say make sure I'm in emunand before updating do you basically mean boot into RxTools (via MSET) first?

Make sure you see the RX-E before updating. If you don't see it, you're in sysnand and should not update.

Wow... somehow updated Sysnand and now I'm on 9.8.0-25E. Am I fucked now? Or is there a way to rollback/get Rxtools working with latest FW?

Or is Sky3ds the only option?

Yeah I don't know how it did Sysnand, I double checked beforehand. Oh well I never used my 3ds anyway, just had curiosity

It seemed that you didn't de-link the nands, so it will update both your nands

The delinking is only related to installing CIA as going to data management supposedly deletes them (that doesn't happen to me and apparently a lot others). It's also to get rid of the unwrapping bug.

There might be some other reasons, but what you mentioned is not one of them. Not even close.

And yes, my nands are linked, and I know this info first hand
