Hacking Is there a way of fixing my wii?

I would like to know if there is a way to replace the wii's dvd loading mechanism because my mechanism is broken but only a very small part. I dont want to have to replace the whole drive or send it to nintendo and pay 80 bucks. So any help would be appreciated like a place to buy the part or if u have a spare maybe we could arrange a transaction of some sort. thank you!

If it's only a mechanical part which is broken, did you try a good glue, 2 component glue for example?

yes, its only a mechanical part that broke off. The problem is that i cant find the broken piece (it was not inside the wii for some reason) so there is nothing to glue. what would be my alternatives besides buying a new drive for about 80 bucks or sending it to Nintendo for about the same amount. thanks

did you try finding a piece of plastc the same size and glue it there?

Not a real answer to your question, but DealExtreme sells replacement drives for $58..
