Hacking in Switch Lite isn't going happen unless it is modchipped.

3DS and Switch Lite aren't same at all.

Your option is... get used Switch that is exploitable if you don't want to put modchip in.
this is probably what the wii hackers thought at first. But than those infamous tweezers got stuck in the disk drive and defeated the security. something like that is bound to happen soon

I heard that switch update 12.2 is crippled, and has problems downloading games. Don’t know what kind of problems, but possibly a ninjahax-like exploit could be used

The Switch uses ASLR to randomize memory layout. This makes gamesave exploits and hacks such as ninjahax pretty impossible to pull off.

At that point they haven't reverse most of the system yet, while we now have full reimplementations of the most importent system parts for cfw, the kernel and trust zone.
Unless people either find an obscure bootrom exploit or nintendo fucks up and creates a hole in the trust zone, you will problaby not get a software exploit, and both of these scenarios are relatively unlikely.

Don't hold your breath on this.

Nintendo learned a hard lesson from Wii, Wii U and 2DS/3DS so they tighten the security up in Switch until exploit is discovered that isn't only affect Switch, also it does affect all of Tegra X1 enabled devices. It is more of on NVIDIA rather than Nintendo itself.

That why you need modchip to bypass the security crap before you can hack it.

I was wait to see Xbox One to get hacked but it didn't happen and I gave up.

The modchip must be done via undercover, otherwise, Nintendo will send swarm of lawyers go after modders.

If you want hacked Switch now then wait for modchip to make available or buy used, unpatched Switch.

Unless you've been involved in any hacking before hand. I think the way you approach it is very naive.
Most of these things I think "the people who invested hundreds of hours into" have already thought about. Nothings gonna happen if you stick around the temp and write here "Has anyone thought of a save-game exploit?"

But I don't wanna discourage you, maybe there is something so trivial someone didn't think about it. But when It comes down to security, there's a probabillity of about 0.1% that you're gonna stick your tweezers into your Switch and getting it hacked.

I'm not to judge, because I haven't tried it myself, that's why I take what SciresM says to heart. The more people are interested in hacking the Switch the higher is the probabillity that a hack is indeed gonna happen. But I aswell think, that it isn't gonna happen before EOL. Even if there was a software Exploit, i'd rather no release it. It just would be wasted, because Ninty will just patch it on the next update.

Before thinking about any hacking Idea, you should get familiar with how the Systems Security works.
It also might be worth while to check out how the other Systems worked, because the security mechanism have drastically been changed since the Wii.

you never know
While nobody never knows, it is also possible nothing simply comes out. Its been 3 years since the Switch was released and we still only have Fusee Gelee and Deja Vu. Even now, we just now have Atmosphere as our only CFW so developments have been on the decline for a while now. It will take a miracle for a new exploit to be discovered which happen when the Switch is no longer relevant.

Yes, that is true, also Nintendo and US government crippled the TX so they are unlikely to release a new update to support latest firmware.

I'm not sure if Atmosphere is under threat but they could kill the sigpatches support if they want and it means no one could play pirated games. The Atmosphere developer made a intended to access to homebrew and their apps, not piracy.
