Hacking Is the Wii shop smart enough to detect this?

The wii shop will not delete any installed channels, legitimate or pirated. It will detect all installed channel tickets, and if they cared could track that to your ip.

Thanks, BTW, I asked this since some people claimed that after they transfered their content from the Wii to the WiiU and reinstalled the NAND before the transfer, the shop deleted their channels and games. Is this caused by another means?

Transferring from wii to wii-u will remove installed games from wii. But if you reinstall them via wad after that, or even nand restore, they should stay. The wii transfer tool is what removes the installed channels.
