i think him saying nintendo install a new "secret kernel" in your ram should make you think he has no idea what hes doing

LOL, and anyway, to reach the real firmware you have to short some contacts near the batt

Not to mention that it's illegal to force install something (stuff like "Automatic Updates" is legal, because you gave it permission to install by itself).

They can get your IP address and using GeoIP/similar they will have a good idea where it is. But your session looks exactly like one from an original cart. Maybe a bit odd if you always play wifi a week before it's out, or exclusively use Euro carts in the US...
