Ive got a ps3 on ofw 4.7. i understand that the only way to install cfw on my console is to downgrade to ofw 3.5. Is there a way to do this with my console?
You have two options, use some tools to get the IDPS and then, in the OFW, you can play games on then, but is a little bit tricky, and since my point of view, I would not like to try that option, but that's just my opinion, you can try if you want. The second option (Which is the "best" technically speaking) is install the Cobra ODE, which allows you to play PS3 games in most OFW, but there hasn't been an update for 4.70, so, you probably have to wait until they release something similar, so, the first option is all you can do for the moment, you can try that option though.

@Xdqwerty, wire is definitely more practical IMO. Hell these days you can charge a laptop over USB, can't charge a laptop wirelessly though. Wireless chargers, even "fast" ones, are only good for slowly charging devices, plus they generate a good amount of heat too
Power banks can be incredible depending on your needs. 1) I have a 100w capable one that can charge my laptop. 2) Same one can also power my soldering iron (though is overkill for it) 3) a BIG power bank I have with an AC outlet on it can power my desktop weed vape during a power outage
