Don't buy them from cons. It seems that that's where all the fakes come from...wonder if it's always the same people? Anyway, unless you track down the guy who sold it to you, there's not much you can do about it.

Seemed to think that would be a good place to buy it =/
ah well, it kinda works, I can play roms and load homebrew, good enough for me!

Well for one Akaio seems to be deemed as a god software around here...
and for two i really thought it was messed up because animal crossing wouldnt load... Also it has other small quirks :/

hum, genuine carts (like mine) load Animal Crossing fine though there is supposed to be some issue with Letter retaining that was fixed but broke soft-reset in the latest loader.
