Hacking Is My Acekard Real or a Clone?

I got my Acekard 2i in January and there is something about it that worries me, there are no guards over the connectors on the bottom of the cart. I was wonding if Acekard does that or if it is a clone (I really hope it's not...).

i don't have the card yet but im gathering all the files on the microsd card

can i still have both of these folders in the root of the microsd card?

_aio and _ak2 folders and one akmenu4.nds file? the akmenu4 file only associates with one folder correct?

Every (genuine HW81) AK2i doesn't have those 'guards'.

Only use the _aio folder and the akmenu nds file that comes with it, AKAIO is much better than the stock firmware.

there is a thread somewhere that tells you if its real. Another way is to test if it works with firmware 1.6 RC2

Those "guards" just help the cart to have better contact with the DS, its better without them
