Hacking is it safe to update games while in emunand Gateway 3DS ??

I am still new at this and I am curious to play smash or mario kart online (already did apply a private header) so is there any tricks to update or just update directly ??

If you're using an Old 3DS, then you can update with the System updater while you're in emunand.

If you're using a N3DS

Download 3DNUS
Put 9.5.0-23 for the title id - USA / EUR / JPN for your respective ds
Check N3ds
Download then place the folder onto the internal mSD
Boot into Emunand (You do not want to update your Sysnand)
Google: BigBlueMenu.3DS-BigBlueBox or you can get SysUpdater.cia
Place BBM or Devmenu .3ds onto gateway mSD
Open DevMenu or BBM
Move to the left once on D-pad to SDMC
Install all the cia files located in the patch folder. (L + R + A to install all)
Restart your ds to emunand and you'll be on 9.5 emu.

*Once everything is installed, you can delete the update folder / cias from your mSD using either BBM / DevMenu or computer*

If you want to update the games, just have to download CIA update files and install them on your emunand using devmenu/bbm. You only need the latest versions.

If you're on o3DS, update your emuNAND through system settings and use the eShop like normal.
If you're on n3DS, install https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-free-multi-patcher.391945/ and run it after booting Gateway/CFW and you'll be able to access eShop without updating.
If the game is out of region, you'll have to download the CIA file of the update from *that ISO site*
