I'm working on a project and was wondering if this could already be done. If you need clarification, what I want to be able to do is turn on the game and have it boot directly into a downloaded game without having to press any buttons. Thanks in advance!
What I mean is when I turn on the PS3, having it boot straight into a downloaded game. I don't want it to enter the menu because I don't want people messing with the settings. Also I was wondering if there was a way to prevent people from returning to the menu using the PS button. I think the easy solution to that is just removing the button from the controller.

What your asking I don't think is possible, at least not for the PS button
For games, you could use Multiman last game.pkg
Set your PS3 to auto boot disc. Now I don't know if it will boot straight away or not once you turn the PS3 as I haven't tried it.
Then you would have to use bdrom reset.pkg to change the game again.
Best way to not let others mess up settings, is don't let anyone else use the PS3 lol.
