Hacking Is it possible for me to restore a bootmii nand backup on a diff. wii?

My original wii was stolen a while back, and I just bought a new one. I still have the keys.bin and nand.bin files from a previous nand backup using bootmii. Would it be possible to restore that backup onto my new wii?

Use Betwiin. It may not work however depending on how new your current Wii is.

hmm, that seems risky, especially since the wii isn't bricked. Is there any way of just extracting the save games from the nand dump?

Use Showmiiwads or other similar program to extract the dump to raw files, then grab the /title/00010000 folder from it. I believe that's the correct folder for saves. To get these raw saves back onto your Wii, you'll need to use Savegame Manager GX. It should be able to get your saves on there. I forget how that program needs the save folder named, though, so you may want to play a game or two on your Wii, then dump the saves you make to see how it organizes them.
