Is it even possible to get a GTX 1060 and Ryzen PC under $1000 in Romania?!

I checked literally every Romanian selling website, second-hand GPUs cost exactly as much as they sell them on https://www.pcgarage.ro/ , so how is it possible to build a Ryzen + GTX 1060 (or equivalent) PC under $1000?

Should I not buy nVidia GPUs? If so, what GPU should I buy (that costs less)? Where should I buy my parts?

EDIT: I'm getting my PC in August. Is there any chance that prices will fall?

To be perfectly honest, it would probably end up being cheaper to import from NA, or possibly from another country in the EU (though I know in some countries prices in the EU are still higher than US prices, which would make it not worth it in the end).

I did some quick checking on the site you linked above, and I'm basically seeing a GTX 1060 6GB for like $440 USD on that site, whereas in the US a similar card is only $300 on Amazon. Granted, the shipping prices to Romania are ~$80, it's still cheaper than any 6GB card listed on your particular website (though not by much).

Whether prices will go down just depends. GPU prices have been steadily dropping in the US now the past few weeks (that 1060 6GB I linked above is currently close to or at it's original MSRP) but that doesn't necessarily mean they will in other countries.

Need to add vat to the NA price. 19% in Romania (I think), so extra $60 or so onto of the $300 before shipping and if Amazon don't take a fees desposit for Romania to pre-pay it for you, then also you have to pay the postal service their blood money for doing their job or they hold your parcel hostage.

Better to get from somewhere else in EU with cheaper prices.

This for example

6GB 1060, great cooler, £229 ($305), from the EU (for now), so no extra charges other than shipping.

The ~$80 included VAT in my estimate (Amazon US shows you VAT+shipping when you choose a different country), but yeah you're definitely right that something from the EU would end up being cheaper.
