Is Game Builder Garage any good?

It never really took off. I haven't tried it before and the tutorials for it on YouTube are years old now. My impression of it is while good tool and a massive upgrade over the DSi title Petite Computer, it just takes too long to make a good game and the vast majority of users don't bother.

It's a cool tool if you want to build simple 3D games quickly & easily without much programming knowledge (as the programming is all visual), however you can forget about more complex stuff, as there's a 512 Nodon and 1024 Connection limit per game in addition to limits like only having 5 text Nodons per game.

However I've downloaded some really cool games on the network and even tried making some games of my own, so I believe that it can be worth it.

I've seen some cool stuff made in it but it seems really dumbed down compared to something like Dreams. Which makes total sense, Dreams isn't exactly accessible and you need to already be a game dev or invest some serious time to understand it, as it's a fully fledged game engine. Nintendo wants their games to be accessible. But yet it seems like Dreams exploded in popularity far more and there is endless interesting content available for it. Game Builder Garage might be a little too dumbed down for its own good.
Sharing creations made in Game Builder Garage is also not as easy as it should be, which makes it difficult to discover cool stuff people have made.

It honestly really could use a game discovery system like Mario Maker 2 has.
