Is being a Furry bad?(part of Furry Fandom)

It had to do with a debate we had in one of the sections. Anyhow, I am still confused of what a member of the Furry Fandom does. I heard they just act like the character they make. Is that true? In that case, it is like a Role-playing game.

I really don't recall what you are talking about, but some people do play as their character and talk the way they would want their character to talk. Some just have one who is just them, much like The Catboy to me.
And yeah you could look at it as a Role-playing game if that makes more sense.

I mean, it seems kind of an interesting thing to do, being the character of your own imagination(no matter what your age) and just playing along with the others out there. Though I only have one problem.

If anything, talk to Vulpes Abnotoco about this, he's nice and knows details about why this is so.
But still, GBATemp does have a no furry thread period rule. Once a mod/admin sees this, it's locked and/or deleted.

Ok, my opinion is that most of the time on most parts of the interwebs the people who happily identify as Furries outside of Furry sites are a bunch of perverts who like having a persecution complex so act atrociously and with a total disregard for others rights when it comes to not having to put up with sexually extreme and offensive stuff, or even just plain old offensive stuff (look up Nazi Furs for that), so they can have a nice loud whinge about how they are being persecuted.
