I was just wondering whether or not anybody is working on a way to hack a switch that's patched without using a mod chip or physically modding it.
You should not expect anything to happen anytime soon, if ever. If you want to hack your Switch, either get a model that's easily hackable or get a modchip.
eBay has them, but if you go for one specifically labeled as I'm unpatched or low serial, expect to pay extra. If you simply contact a bunch of sellers asking about the serial number, you can get it cheaper.Do you know any good sites where to find low serial unpatched switches? I don't know where to look

Nobody is publicly working on it. Just get an unpatched unit or a console with a firmware of <4.1I was just wondering whether or not anybody is working on a way to hack a switch that's patched without using a mod chip or physically modding it.
I just bought one thxJust wanted to chime in and say you can find easily hackable ones all over the internet . Just search low serial switch or something of the likes. Probably the preferable way of doing it too, since having a low serial switch means you can use Atmosphere atm.
Did you get to find one at a reasonable price? When I searched, old used ones were more expensive than a brand new one.....I just bought one thx
Mine was 230 with tax and shipping eBay. Fully unpatched. Its coming today so ill see.Did you get to find one at a reasonable price? When I searched, old used ones were more expensive than a brand new one.....
Those keys mean pretty much nothing.Hackers just can't stop trying to find a breach until they eventually do.
Also, not sure if it could lead to a softmod but :

But with Nintendo suing the hell out of people recently, any hacker who finds a breach will think twice.
Just look for an old switch that still works and mod that because there may not be any modifications for the patched switches for a long timeI was just wondering whether or not anybody is working on a way to hack a switch that's patched without using a mod chip or physically modding it.
I hope your rightPeople love challenges so you never know when someone will find something. Not going to be easy, though
